Mission Statement

The purpose of the O¹Connor Method Camps is to bring teachers and young students of the violin and related string instruments together from near and far to experience a week of intensive training featuring American based music, playing styles, techniques and history, utilizing the O'Connor Method Book series. Private classes, group classes, master classes, string orchestras and ensembles, specialty electives, recitals and jam sessions combine to enhance technique, promote creativity, foster a deeper understanding of American music and, most importantly, create an environment in which to experience the joy of making music with other children.
